                   MAY

SUNDAY, MAY 16, 11:AM AND 1:PMSpecial Raku Class. This is a brand new offering at the shop. You will be completely involved in this piece. You will be glazing and then actually pulling the molten item from the kiln and placing it into the reduction chamber. No two pieces ever come out the same. The colors are truly beautiful. These are cast with special Raku Clay. The ware has also been cleaned and  fired for you. Prices vary on the Raku items. However all glaze, firing and tools provided. Because of the special kiln and tools used I can only accommodate four people at one session. We will have two sessions on this day. You will need to have your items glazed with instructions from me and at your convenience prior to this class. You will have your choice of using any of the Raku Glazes at the shop. Even the brushes are provided. This is a very fun class to do. Please sign up early and get on a waiting list so I know how many future classes to schedule. You must see these in person to get the true beauty and color of each piece!

                                                           JUNE

SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 9AMDAVID HOFF AIRBRUSH WORKSHOP OR WIPEOUT. Your choice as to what you want to do. You may do both a wipeout piece and a regular airbrush piece. In this ever popular class you have your choice of items and also color. As many of you know there are many airbrush samples at the shop. The pictures below are just a few ideas of what you can do. This class is for beginners as well as experienced people. Get your pieces cleaned and ready for class

SUNDAY, JUNE 6, 9AMThe first piece we will be doing is this lovely plate with a SPECIAL TECHNIQUE BORDER.

The second piece can be the CUTE FISH on a piece of your choice or a OPEN BOOK PROJECT.  In this class you get to choose your own piece and pattern to paint. David brings several binders of wonderful designs for you to look at. This is almost a one on one brush stroke class. It has always been a favorite. Both advanced and beginners welcomed. David will help you select a pattern and adapt it to your abilities. Why not give brush strokes a chance. Many samples to see at shop. You will be surprised at what you can do!

SUNDAY, JUNE 13, 1PMYou will be using glass line products and lots of glass frit to create this lovely little TUSCANY VILLAGE SCENE. You may adapt your own personal colors if you wish for the flowers etc. Can be displayed on a  n easel or made to hang on a light colored wall. Sample at shop! This is a repeated class so don't miss out on this one.

THURSDAY, EVENING, JUNE 17, 6PMEVENING GLASS JEWELRY CLASS. This is a beginner glass class. Learn how to cut and assemble jewelry for fusing. All glass, firing and tools provided.  Limited space in these glass classes. This has been a very favorite class for those who have done it and most sign up for two and three more classes. Come in and see the samples. They are truly beautiful!

FRIDAY, JUNE 25, 10AMWe will be doing this easy and FUN LITTLE VASE on Duncan Bisque. No need to clean vase before class. You will have your choice of color for the flowers and two different background colors. You will want to do more then one so sign up early and let me know how many. This is a great small gift for someone. Super easy brushwork and fun to do!

SUNDAY, JUNE 27, 1PMWe will be making these beautiful GLASS FUSED WATCHES. Your choice of color. All glass, firing, tools, crystal beads, bead caps, watch,( black, gold or silver tone), stringing media, etc. included. Samples at shop.

                       JULY                              

THURSDAY, JULY8, 6PMSTRAWBERRY GLASS PLATE. We will be using a glass line product and painting with glass colors. This easy to do. After class the plate will be fired and slumped in a glass mold to make the swirl design. All pre-cut glass, colors and tools provided. Sample at shop.

SATURDAY, JULY 10, 9AMPAINTED FLOWER VASE. Come join us and learn to paint this beautiful vase with different kinds of flowers and leaves. This is done on Duncan bisque, so no cleaning needed. Sampled at shop.

                                                             AUGUST

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1, 1PMCLAY PUZZLED GRAPE TUSCANY VASE. This has been one of the most popular classes at the shop. You will be making a beautiful Grape Tuscany Vase using a clay puzzling technique. It looks hard but is really easy to do. We will be working with Terra Cotta clay. Space is limited in this great class. I can only accommodate about 6 people at a time, Samples at shop!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 7, 9AMLearn to paint this great FRUIT BOWL. We will be using Duncan bisque and colors, so no greenware clean up is needed. Great for beginners. Learn how to transfer a pattern, do easy shading, spatter and band the rim. Sample at shop.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 15, 1PMCLAY PUZZLED GOURDS. This is a new class at the shop and I know these will be as popular as the grape puzzled vase class has been. The set will make a great center piece, floor or patio decoration for the fall. I can only teach six people at a time so please sign up early. Each person will make all three sizes in the class. Samples at shop soon!

THURSDAY, AUGUSTAIRBRUSH WORKSHOP! This is a added day. The Saturday. August 28,  class is full unless we have a cancellation. If interested please call shop for details.  Only a few places left on this day!

FRIDAY,AUGUST 27, 9AMSPECIAL PIPING CLASS! This is the special class that David has designed for us. Two beautiful blue parrots that we will be painting and then piping. Piping is easy and fun. This is done on Duncan bisque so no need to clean asy greenware before class. Please call shop so we can have enough plates ordered.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 9AM AIRBRUSH WORKSHOP ! This still continues to be a most popular class. Of course all instruction, color, and use of the airbrush is includes. Everyone has his or her own airbrush to use for the day. Many samples at shop. Stop in any times to see them and ask questions.
